We collect as little information as possible.
What we store
- Visitors: no account is needed. We do not use advertising trackers by default. Standard server logs (IP address, browser, time) are kept for security for a limited period.
- Error reports: the message you send and, if you choose, your name and e-mail, used only to handle the correction.
- Mobile app: a random device identifier, notification token, language and the topics you subscribe to — used only to send the notifications you asked for. Tokens are encrypted at rest and deleted when you turn notifications off.
Hindi translation (Google Translate)
If you switch the site to हिं, the page text is sent to Google Translate to produce a machine translation and a googtrans preference cookie is stored. Nothing is sent to Google while you read in English. Machine translations can contain mistakes — the English text and the official notice are authoritative.
Cookies
The public site uses no tracking cookies. A strictly necessary security cookie is set when you submit a form.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete an error report you sent by contacting us. Turning off notifications in the app removes your device registration.
